All Tickets £11.50*

The Manchester Acoustic Blues Festival has run as part of the independent Manchester Biennial Arts celebration since 2013. Most often referred to as ‘MABS Fest’ the event established itself as one of the UK’s leading roots and acoustic events attracting performers from all over the world. Due to the dreadful terror attack in May 2017 the event was postponed and later held outside the City at a different venue later that year.

For 2019 in a collaboration with Floral Pavilion New Brighton the event will run as a one day event as part of the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain. MABS Fest continues to showcase a wide cross section of the very best in acoustic blues music in Britain today.

BEX MARSHALL was voted Best Female Solo Acoustic Artist in the European Blues Awards 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 as well as Best Female Vocalist and Album of the Year in British Blues Awards 2013. Bex toured with Big Brother and the Holding Company on the last UK tour as the voice of Janis Joplin and has just finished her fourth 30 date US tour. She will also be touring Brazil and Australia in 2019 in preparation for her next album release. Her unique style of guitar playing is a combined technique of slide, blues rock with ragtime and roots pickin’. Her voice is a powerful melting pot of heartache and rock diva soul.
