“If I cannot fly, let me sing,” said Stephen Sondheim and the choral talent displayed by the five Choirs at our first Choral Festival last May certainly flew off the stage in the Floral’s Blue Lounge to the sell-out audience. Indeed, such was the enthusiastic reaction to the Event that the organisers, North Wirral Rotary Club, have announced that the 2017 Choral Festival will move to the Main Theatre on Friday, 19th May at 7pm and feature six local Choirs with three returning from last year and three new to the Event.
The full list for this non-competitive event is; • Bunker Boys (from Heswall Golf Club) • Cantemus at Calday • Musicality Community Choir • Off Pitch (from Caldy Rugby Club!) • Capriccio Singers • Wirral Community Choir
All proceeds are in aid of local charities supported by Rotary
*Includes a £1.50 per ticket fee. Fees capped at the first 8 tickets. No fees to Friends of the Floral.
Mercury Theatre, Colchester and Selladoor Productions have today announced a brand new UK tour of Eric Idle's Spamalot. Lovingly ripped off from the hugely successful 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this riotous comedy comes to the Floral Pavilion from 3-7 April 2018. Tickets go on sale 12 May at 10am online and 11am from Box Office.
