A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, is a dark comedy about parents Sheila and Bri. Who throughout the play tell their story using multi-rolling and comedy about their daughter Josephine and her disability. She is completely paralysed and unable to communicate due to cerebral palsy. This play is based on the true events of the author Peter Nichols. It made its west end debut in 1967. In 2001 it was revived starring Victoria Hamilton and comedian Eddie Izzard. This thought provoking play will leave you in fits of laughter.
