Conceived by Silvia Battista and devised with Alice Colquhoun and Amodali Performed by Silvia Battista – Amodali – Alice Colquhoun Costumes by Nick Ball Come and join us dear visitor to fulfill together the end of the cycle of Sir Gawain’s rite of passage.

You will join the celebration of the feminine and masculine powers finally coming together in the depth of winter and in the heat of the underworld.
The gift of the weavers for you will be a unique experience wherein the theatrical, the ritualistic and the ceremonial will be carefully crafted through sound, voice, storytelling and presence.

The event is inspired by Morgan Le Fay, the weaver of the tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It concludes the great adventure of Into the Wyld to honour and salute the work of all the artists, thinkers and makers who participated in this incredible journey.

This event is part of ‘Weavers’, a programme of performances, talks, workshops and readings curated by Dr Silvia Battista as part of Into The Wyld at Williamson Art Gallery. The Weavers program is supported by Liverpool Hope University.
